I'm considering how to add some of the more social elements of omg.lol to the app... For example, IRC.
Surely users will be better served by the chat.omg.lol PWA, so there's little point building anything in, right?

G'day neighbours! It's been a while...
But I wanted to share that version 1.0.0 of Neighbourhood.omg.lol is live on the Google Play Store! If you're already using the app, there are no major changes. If you're not though, it's a great time to jump on board! Statuses, pics, pastes and all that good omg.lol stuff is here and easily accessible.
Any feedback? Shoot me a message: [email protected]

Is it time...?
G'day, Neighbours!
Update 0.9.9 has been published to the Google Play store (pending Google's review).
This update adds the ability to view and manage pastebin entries through the in-app profile page. Pastes will also show up in the feed.
Also added: Edit your statuslog bio, character count on statuses, light theme (based on OS preference) and some minor color / style tweaks.
As always, feedback is welcome via [email protected]

G'day, Neighbours!
Update 0.9.7 has been published to the Google Play store.

This update brings the ability to edit your web/profile page. Including choosing a theme!
You can also upload a new profile picture through the app.

Ooh! Neighbourhood.omg.lol is verified. When did that happen? Neat.

G'day Neighbours!
I've published an open beta of my new Neighbourhood.omg.lol app. It's ready for any and all Android users to try out!
I've also set up a sale so the app will be free for a week, but I couldn't start the sale immediately, so it will be free from tomorrow.
I'm looking for honest feedback. What works, what doesn't, what needs improvement. I don't exactly have bug tracking or anything set up yet, so for now feel free to ping me on Mastodon, or shoot an email to [email protected]
I also have a roadmap on the /now page (https://neighbourhood.omg.lol/now) if you're interested.

Serious question for all omg.lol people: Following other omg.lol people, yay or nay?
For some, part of the appeal of status.lol is that there isn't any "social" features such as "liking" and "following". For others, it might be nice to keep the statuslog of people you care about close.
What say you?
Being from Australia, I did not grow up with Mister Rogers (though my kids love Daniel Tiger). I feel like I may have missed out.
"Dogfooding" is such a weird word to choose for the concept. "Would you eat your own dog food?" If yes, wouldn't it just be "food"?
