So, I've re-jiggered my website *again*, and moved away from Ghost, back to 11ty, with a Friendica instance along for the ride...
Was going to Ghost the right choice for me? I thought it was a good move. My website, blog, and Fediverse presence are all on the same platform and all on the same domain. But it's not quite what I wanted...
This is still very raw and not looking great or anything, but I'm experimenting with using the #mastodon API built into #friendica to get my #ActivityPub posts and show them on my static #eleventy website.
Because it's static, this post won't appear on it, but it should next time I rebuild.
Eventually, I want to be able to log in and reply, see my feeds, and post directly from my website. Friendica is probably overkill as a back-end, but it's what I have right now.
#ActivityPub, #Microformats, #Micropub... These all describe the same set of activities. So where's the service that lets me publish to my own static site via something like Micropub, with built-in interactions (likes, comments, etc) via ActivityPub?
